He has lived in a Muslim majority country and brings 11 years of cross-cultural experience working with Muslims to the Internship. He is currently a PhD candidate at Melbourne School of Theology where he is writing about an Islamist movement. He received his MA in Muslims studies from Columbia International University, and his BA in Biblical Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife have been married for 20 years, have four awesome young adults, and they reside in North Carolina, USA.

Disha is a third culture missionary kid and has lived in four countries. She brings 15 years of on-going cross-cultural experience in ministry to Muslims. She received her Master of Education from Trinity International University and her bachelors from Moody Bible Institute. She loves discipling new believers in her neighborhood in the Chicago area and coaching interns who are just starting in ministry to Muslims.

Greg Davis, Internship Coach

Greg earned his master’s degree from Wheaton College in Illinois in Intercultural Studies and his bachelor’s degree at Columbia International University in General Ministry. He worked with LIFE Ministries, now Asian Access Ministries, in Japan teaching English as a Second Language and Church Planting from 1987 to 2008.  Since returning to the USA and joining Crescent Project staff in 2010, Greg serves as the North East Ohio Area coordinator and works with international students and refugees.

Miel Horrilleno, Internship Coach

As a coach she likes to ask questions. What is the meaning of her name? It means honey! Born in the Philippines she was born again in America. She joined Crescent Project in 2018 and her favorite role is coaching interns. She served with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Indonesia for six years. Prior to that she was in corporate America as a Systems Architect. The Wind of God has certainly blown her to many places and experiences that have shaped her joy in Christ. She enjoys using fabrics to create quilts to express Biblical truths, getting to that sweet spot in swimming, listening to music from the Beatles to Beethoven including K-pop, and remaining Windblown!
