30 Years of Faithfulness. A Future Full of Hope
Important Update from Crescent Project Leadership
Dear Crescent Project Family,
We want to share an important leadership transition taking place at Crescent Project.
After 30 years of faithful and visionary service, Fouad Masri, our Founder and President, is stepping into a new season. Fouad will be taking a six-month sabbatical beginning this summer, and after that, he will assume a new role as Founder and Global Ambassador. In this capacity, he will continue to champion the mission of Crescent Project—mobilizing the Church to reach Muslims with the hope of the Gospel—while focusing on speaking, resourcing, and global engagement.
We are deeply grateful for Fouad’s decades of tireless work. Crescent Project exists today because of his courage, passion, and unwavering commitment to the Great Commission.
As Fouad transitions into this new role, the Board of Directors has asked Aaron Myers, a long-time leader within Crescent Project, to serve as our Interim President/CEO for the next 12 to 18 months. Aaron has led our Embassy ministry and served as Director of Digital Outreach. He brings a deep love for Jesus, a passion for unreached peoples, and a heart for empowering the Church.
During this season of transition, we remain focused on the same mission: sharing the hope of Jesus with every Muslim. We’re continuing to grow, train, and mobilize Christians across North America and beyond. Our staff remain active and committed, and we are excited about what God has in store.
If you have any questions or want to stay informed about how to pray or engage during this time, we invite you to visit our website or reply directly to contact us.
Thank you for being a part of the Crescent Project family. Your prayers, support, and encouragement have been vital—and will continue to be as we move forward together.
With gratitude and hope,
The Crescent Project Board
A Note from Fouad Masri
Dear Crescent Project Friends,
It is with joy that I write this update to inform you of the growing changes at the ministry.
Many of you have been praying for me and with me for this work that I began in 1993.
After 30 incredible years of leading the Crescent Project in reaching muslims, we as a ministry are entering into a new season of growth. We have seen a need to expand our impact into the global community as we see Islam spread across countries in Europe and Latin America. We cannot ignore the news and the need in front of our eyes.
Watching the devastation of war in the Middle East demands of us a swift response to the needs of Unreached People Groups. We as a ministry must plan and look ahead!
The board of Directors and I worked hard on a plan to capitalize on the growth of the ministry. Starting this July my role is now as "Founder and Global Ambassador" for Crescent Project. I am already scheduled to minister in many areas around the globe. Added to that, I will be in a six-month working sabbatical—a time of rest, reflection, and renewal. This new shift will allow me to focus on developing global initiatives, expanding our reach, and championing the mission of Crescent Project in fresh and strategic ways.
I also want to share how thrilled I am that Aaron Myers has accepted the board’s invitation to serve as Interim President and CEO of Crescent Project. Aaron is a passionate, faithful leader who understands the heart of this ministry. Aaron has served among Unreached PeopleGroups and I have enjoyed serving with him. I have full confidence in his ability to guide Crescent Project forward with vision, humility, and strength.
Crescent Project’s mission remains the same, to see every muslim respond to the Gospel and be connected with a follower of Christ.
Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and friendship. Together we are changing the world one person at a time.
Reaching Muslims for Christ,
Fouad Masri, Founder
A Note from Aaron Myers
Dear friends,
I am deeply honored and humbled to step into the role of Interim President and CEO of Crescent Project. I want to begin by expressing my deep gratitude for Fouad Masri—for his faithful leadership over the past 30 years, for the incredible legacy he has built, and for the way he has consistently championed the call to reach Muslims with the love and truth of Jesus.
Fouad has laid a strong foundation. His passion and obedience have inspired thousands of believers to see Muslims not as strangers, but as neighbors and friends to be loved. I’m excited that he will continue to be an important part of Crescent Project’s future, championing our mission as Founder and Global Ambassador while exploring new global initiatives.
As I step into this new role, I do so with a heart full of prayer, a deep love for this ministry, and a strong desire to build upon what God has already done. I carry a deep passion to serve the local church—to come alongside pastors and believers and help them see that reaching Muslims isn’t just for missionaries, it’s for all followers of Jesus.
In this new season, our aim is to invite ordinary followers of Christ into the extraordinary work that God is doing among Muslims—right here in our neighborhoods and across the globe.
This next chapter is full of opportunity—and we’re going to walk it together, trusting the Lord to lead every step.
Thank you for standing with us. I look forward to continuing the journey with you.
With hope and expectation,
Aaron Myers
Interim President & CEO
